We list our chocolatiers by geographic regions so they're not just a nebulous source of chocolate somewhere in cyberspace, but rather a real chocolatier in a particular part of the country or the world that you may be familiar with and can identify. Shopping at Chocoholic.com is quick and simple. Our shopping carts make it easy for you to securely purchase chocolates from all of our chocolatiers. Because each chocolatier will be sending their products directly to you from their kitchens, there is a shipping charge for each different chocolatier that you order from.

Shopping: On entering our shopping page you will have your own shopping cart which you can fill with products from our chocolatiers' shelves. Naturally you can also put products back. NOTE: If while shopping you select to return to the HOME page, our efficient chocolate trolls will stock the contents of your shopping cart back on the shelves and return the empty shopping cart to the shopping page entrance. If you want to empty your shopping cart and start over again, returning to the home page and clicking on shopping again is an easy way to do so. Searching: You may search for whatever you like. Our convenient search engine will check all our chocolatiers' pages for information you requested and will return a list of the pages which contain it. Click on a link and you'll go to that chocolatier's page. Because what you're searching for may appear in various location on the page, click on your browser's find button (or press Ctrl+F) to find the locations of the information on the chocolatiers page. Order Selection: When you find the products which you wish to order, enter the quantity in the box next to the products. Do so for all the products you wish to order from that chocolatier. When you have finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Add to Order button. If you would like to go to another chocolatier without ordering anything click on your browser's BACK button and you'll be returned to the Geography page from which you can browse any other chocolatier's page. Viewing the contents of your Shopping Cart: Once you have selected one or more products, the bottom of each chocolatiers page will display a VIEW ORDERS button. Click it to go to the VIEW ORDERS page which lists the contents of your shopping cart and allows you to change quantities of items already ordered or to remove items from the shopping cart. Check Out: When you're satisfied click on either CHECK OUT or SECURE CHECK OUT. This will take you to our order processing page in which you enter the necessary shipping and billing information. Our SECURE CHECK OUT facility ensures that all information is securely encrypted so that it can not be seen by anyone other than our billing department. If for some reason you can not use our secure server (often corporate firewalls create such problems), you can still order products securely by using the FAXPhone option for providing credit card information. We use a state of the art secure Web server and adhere to strict privacy guidelines. As described above, we offer a manual FAXPhone option if you do not feel comfortable with security technology. Shipping: We ship throughout the continental United States. We are planning to include Alaska, Hawaii and Canada in the near future. We offer 3-day ground, two-day air and next-day air shipping options. However during warmer seasons our chocolatiers will often only ship two-day or next-day air. This is always the case when the destination is in (AZ, NM, TX, LA, AL, GA, FL). In addition, all deliveries are subject to weather holds at our discretion so that your selections are not damaged by extreme heat or cold. We will contact you to advise you of weather related delays. In general, orders received before 4:00 pm Pacific Standard Time will be processed and shipped the next day and should arrive in three to four business days or less. We always obtain shipping tracking numbers and are happy to provide you with it, if you so request. NOTE: Orders received on Thursdays (unless shipped nex-day air) and Friday's (unless shipped next-day air with Saturday delivery), will not be shipped until the following Monday. Shipping Rates: The View Orders page features a SHIPPING RATES button. Simply multiply the shipping weight by the quantity of the items you've ordered and look up the shipping rate for that weight. The shipping weight includes the weight of packaging materials, so it is higher than the weight of the chocolate. When you order from more than one chocolatier, each will incur a separate shipping charge. Placing an Order: When you have filled in all the required information on the CHECK OUT page, click on SUBMIT. This will bring up the order summary page. Verify that everything is correct and if so, click on the PLACE ORDER button. The order is now complete and you will be shown a receipt that details your order. You can print this receipt for your records. A copy of the receipt will also be emailed to the address you specified on the Check Out page.
